This Whiskey/Bourbon Barrel Lid is from a genuine oak barrel used to age bourbon. We acquire the barrels from a local distillery after they have been used to age bourbon for at least four years. Government regulations require bourbon to be aged in new barrels. So this is a great way to recycle the used barrels.

The lids themselves measure approximately 21 1/2 inches in diameter and 1 inch thick. The support pieces on back are 1/2 inches thick. So the sign is 1-1/2 inch thick in total.
We attach a wire to the back support piece for hanging indoors. If you would like a different method of hanging, please message us.
The sign is finished with Australian Timber Oil- a durable penetrating sealer that provides a natural finish. We do not recommend applying any other product to the sign as it may react with the Australian Timber Oil and ruin the sign.
These signs are made with reclaimed genuine retired barrel heads- and intended for interior use only.
